About this file
This document is a maintenance and preventive care schedule for various industrial equipment and systems across multiple facilities.
The schedule covers 19 items of equipment with detailed maintenance tasks and frequencies. Key equipment includes dry type transformers (600V and below), Spectra Series motor control centers, an Atlas Copco stationary air compressor, Bard heat pump and air conditioning units, three Ingersoll-Rand air compressors at different locations, a Komar auger compactor, SSI and Saturn rotary shear shredders, a switchboard, a Heat Treat kiln, a PII paper shredder, a Marathon drum crusher, a Dehart baler, a Liebert Minimate 2 control room air conditioning unit, and a Komar shredder. Maintenance frequencies range from bi-weekly to annually, with most tasks occurring monthly, every three months, or every six months. Tasks include lubrication, inspection for wear and damage, oil and filter changes, bolt torque verification, cleaning, hydraulic fluid checks, and component replacement. Specific technical requirements are provided, such as grease types (ESSO UNIREX N3 for air compressor bearings, high-temperature grease for kiln motors), torque specifications (60 foot-pounds for shredder endplate bearing bolts, 25 ft-lbs for taper-lock bolts), and operational procedures with safety lockout-tagout (LOTO) requirements for certain tasks. The document assigns identification numbers to each equipment item for tracking purposes.
