The contractor shall install 170 in-ground bait and monitoring stations around the perimeters of 17 buildings, including the visitor center, housing, and administrative offices at specified locations within the park and at Rattlesnake Springs. Installation must comply with manufacturer specifications, with stations positioned flush to ground surface and secured against tampering. The contractor must treat three identified buildings with active infestations through targeted colony elimination and conduct monitoring inspections at six and twelve months post-installation, with bait replenishment as needed during each inspection.

The period of performance is one year from notice to proceed and includes all installation, monitoring, and reporting activities. Deliverables include an initial installation report with GPS-mapped station locations, two comprehensive monitoring inspection reports documenting bait replacement and activity, and a final summary report with photographs and condition assessments. All inspections must be performed by licensed pest control applicators and technicians. The work must be conducted outside buildings to avoid impact to historic structures and comply with National Park Service laws, regulations, environmental protection policies specific to cave and karst environments, and applicable material disposal regulations. The government will provide access to building perimeters and site maps.
