All interested parties must RSVP by Monday, June 15, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. EST to Mr. Chris Dockery at christopher_dockery@nps.gov or 865-214-2776 (cell) or 828-348-3459 (office). Written questions must be submitted to the Contracting Officer at edward_dingle@ios.doi.gov no later than Friday, June 19, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Attendance at the site visit is considered vital for competitive and cost-effective proposals, and failure to attend cannot be used as justification for omissions or miscalculations.

SITE VISIT INFORMATION
The National Park Service invites you to attend a site inspection to provide all material, labor, and supervision for the removal and replacement of roof and gutter systems for two houses, buildings B034 & B035 at Bluffs Housing: removal of approximately 36-Sq /3,600 -SF of asphalt shingles and replace with architectural 30 year shingles and #30 underlayment (note: underlayment can be replaced with synthetic underlayment), repair/replace damaged plywood sheeting/facia boards, replace drip edge, roof boots, install roof underlayment, installation of a ridge vent(s) along the length of the buildings, the removal and replacement of approximately 420-LF of gutter with downspouts and installation of approximately 270-LF of gutter guards on buildings. The buildings are a two-story residence with an asphalt shingle roof for Blue Ridge Parkway Laurel Springs, North Carolina. The Site Visit will be held at the time and place listed below:

TIME: 10:00am. (EST) DATE: Tuesday June 16, 2026.
The purpose of this inspection is for interested parties to ascertain the local conditions at the location, which could materially affect conduct of operations and the cost thereof. All questions must be formally submitted electronically in writing to the Contracting Officer at the email address below NO LATER THAN 1:00pm (ED) on Friday June 19, 2026 (No telephonic questions will be accepted). A summary of questions and answers arising from the site inspection and/or review of the package will be provided to all prospective contractors as an amendment to the solicitation. Only those written answers provided to all offerors will be the Government's official response to questions. Information provided at this site visit shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. No oral questions will be accepted. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.

We consider attendance at this site inspection vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost-effective quote, and to understand the total desired result by the Government. Failure to attend this inspection may not be used as a justification for omissions or miscalculations in technical or price proposals/quotes. It is again emphasized that it is most advantageous for each interested party to have qualified representation at the site inspection. Coordination for attending the site visit shall be made through the site visit point of contact listed below. *NO individual site inspections shall be offered nor conducted. For planning purposes, all parties who plan to attend the site visit must RSVP with the point of contact below no later than Monday June 15, 2026, 3:00pm EST.
