- From California (Lone Pine or Olancha), head East on CA-190, turn left on Scotty's Castle Road/North Highway, proceed to the Grapevine Ranger Station.
- From Nevada (Las Vegas or Pahrump), head West on Bel Vista Rd (turning into Stateline Rd at the NV/CA border) to Death Valley Junction, then head West on CA-190 passing through Furnace Creek and continuing on to Scotty's Castle Rd/North Highway turning right and continuing to the Grapevine Ranger Station.
CAUTION: Although maps show access from US95 via NV267, there is no access via that route. NV267 is closed.
