About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division for Kentucky Counties of Edmonson (Wage Determination No. 2015-4679, Revision 31, effective 3/30/2026).

The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work performed in the specified Kentucky area across numerous occupational classifications. All listed occupations require fringe benefits including health and welfare coverage at $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week) or $222.00 per week/$962.00 per month, with an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour for EO 13706 paid sick leave coverage. Additional benefits include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after ten years, and four weeks after fifteen years of service; a minimum of twelve paid holidays annually (New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Washington's Birthday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas); and uniform allowances where applicable. Special pay differentials apply to air traffic controllers and weather observers (10% night differential, 25% Sunday premium for full-time employees), positions involving hazardous materials (8% or 4% differential depending on hazard degree), and certain technical occupations with footnoted exceptions. Computer professionals meeting specific compensation and duty requirements may be exempt from wage determination applicability. The wage determination includes occupational codes and rates ranging from $10.20 per hour for Waiter/Waitress to $54.54 per hour for Nuclear Medicine Technologist, covering administrative, automotive, food service, furniture maintenance, health, information technology, instructional, protective service, recreation, and technical occupations among others. Contractors must request conformance authorization via Standard Form 1444 for unlisted occupational classifications not previously identified in the wage determination.
