About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details audiological evaluation services for the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), specifically the 934th Aeromedical Staging Squadron (ASTS) located at the 934th Airlift Wing in Minnesota. The contractor must provide comprehensive audiometric testing that includes pure tone air and bone conduction tests, word recognition testing, immittance measures, acoustic reflex testing, and otoacoustic emissions testing. Required qualifications include an audiologist with an active license who can perform examinations using calibrated equipment meeting American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards.
Key performance requirements include completing exams 95% of the time during initially scheduled slots and submitting detailed audiology reports to the 934th ASTS within one week of examination completion. The reports must include recommendations for hearing aids, hearing protection, medical referrals, noise exposure history, and a comprehensive interpretation of test results. Services will be performed at Building 840, with scheduling between 0600-2300 Monday through Thursday, 0600-1800 Friday, and 0600-1600 on UTA weekends, excluding federal holidays. Patients are responsible for ensuring their ears are clear of compacted ear wax prior to examination.
