About this file
This is a Table of Services document that outlines cleaning and maintenance requirements for federal facilities operated by the Armed Forces Career Centers. The document specifies 13 service items with detailed descriptions and performance standards for janitorial services across multiple locations.
Daily and weekly cleaning services (performed 2-3 times weekly) include trash removal with 100% recycled liners, vacuuming with HEPA filtration systems, hard surface cleaning of ceramic and tile areas, disinfection of high-touch surfaces using EPA-registered products with minimum 70% alcohol, restroom disinfection with environmentally friendly antibacterial agents and 100% recycled paper products, miscellaneous cleaning of fingerprints and smears, and dusting with damp chemical-treated cloths. Monthly services include glass surface cleaning (interior and exterior windows at 38°F or above) without pressure washing, trash receptacle washing, and toilet bowl and urinal de-scaling. Twice-yearly carpet cleaning (April and October) must use high-performance hot water extraction with certified fabric protection treatment applied to high-traffic areas, performed after normal working hours using truck-mounted equipment with water/steam temperatures not exceeding 120°F. Annual light fixture cleaning (October) requires removal and washing of globes, reflectors, covers, and diffusers. Emergency cleaning services must be completed within a half day when required for water damage, leaks, or other incidents. The contract includes a provision that normal cleaning daily items may be deducted from amounts owed in the event of contractor no-shows. Four facility locations are identified: Greenfield, MA (approximately 785 SF), Pittsfield, MA (approximately 1,499 SF), Sturbridge, MA (approximately 1,768 SF), and South Hadley, MA (approximately 3,000 SF).
