Multimedia Designer
II
BA/BS >5 Design or create graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos. May use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative. Under general direction, designs and builds web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools. Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.
Contributes to the design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online offerings. Designs the website to support the organization’s strategies and goals relative to external communications. Requires understanding of web-based technologies and thorough knowledge of HTML, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and/or other design related applications.
Multimedia Designer
III

Program Manager BA/BS >10 Provide overall leadership and direction to the team. Structure and oversee the team to ensure maximum performance. Set subcontractor role, performance expectations and subcontractors agreements. Provide contractual reporting and metrics on a regular basis. Monitor resource allocation and distribution for project needs.
Programmer Web Based Developer II
BA/BS >5 Under direction, use Flash, HTML5 and JavaScript to develop web-based applications for interactive mobile and online e-learning courses and user websites. Employ existing site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML5/Flash practices.
Programmer Web Developer III
BA/BS >10 Responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining web-based applications (HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript) utilizing the Microsoft development stack including ASP.NET and MVC. Troubleshoots system problems and issues and looks for ways to improve the application. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedure. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
Typical duties include:
• Designing, developing, and testing web-based applications
• Diagnosing and fixing bugs found by quality assurance testers
• Increasing online exposure through search engine optimization best practices With 7+ years of experience an AS may be substituted for a BA/BS. With 10+ years of experience, no degree is required.
Project Coordinator
III
AA/AS >10 Coordinate and track projects and manage communications between the project team. Ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on schedule. Assist with the production of preparation of technical reports, and creation of presentations.
Schedule and participate in conference calls and webinars with clients. Work on other administrative tasks as necessary.
Project Manager BA/BS > 10 years Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
Coordinate with customer to create work packages, develop task list, and activities schedules for the team. Provide input to the Project Coordinator/Integrated Project Lead on projects just described to be input into a Project Scheduling Tool.
Provide updates to schedules so that estimated vs. actual date reports can be generated. Supervise the team of employees. Have a thorough understanding/working knowledge of customer and its mission. Demonstrated experience applying Project Management concepts. Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools.
Demonstrated proficiency using spreadsheet and presentation software tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver assignments and recurring & customized reports on time.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desirable.
Project Scheduler / Planner
BA/BS > 7 years Coordinate with customer to create a Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), identify work packages, develop task list, and schedule. Input the activities just described into a Project Scheduling Tool. Update schedules so that estimated vs. actual date reports of activities can be generated. Integrate schedules of projects into an Integrated Master Schedule. Provide outputs that effectively and accurately communicate project status for team members, the customers and project stakeholders.
Publish updated milestone schedules as appropriate to customer website and other appropriate venues. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desirable.
SME – Operational Safety I
MA/MS >15 Recognized Operational Safety discipline expert among the NASA or military community. Possess specific knowledge on unique topic or discipline that is gained from experience over their career, networks, and projects. Provides direction and insight into trends, mishaps, lessons learned, and successes in identified discipline to the team. Develops content for training and outreach materials based on the concepts and knowledge gained from their experience in the field.
Provides advice and guidance on benchmarking, strategies, and products.
SME - Safety and Mission Assurance I
MA/MS >15 Recognized Safety and Mission Assurance leader among the NASA or military community. Possess broad knowledge on the disciplines within the Safety and Mission Assurance field that is gained from experience over their career, networks, and projects. Understands the SMA role throughout the project lifecycle.
Provides direction and insight into trends, mishaps, lessons learned, and successes in identified discipline to the team.
Develops content for training and outreach materials based on the concepts and knowledge gained from their experience in the field. Provides advice and guidance on benchmarking, strategies, and products.
Software Engineer III BA/BS 6-8 Responsible for functional and data requirements gathering, requirements development and documenting, system analysis and design, and software programming. Designs and develops web-based systems using the latest industry best practices. Knowledgeable of web-based tools on the Microsoft stack including ASP.NET and Model View Controller (MVC). Typical duties include:
• Providing creative vision and managing the planning and implementation of web-based applications
• Coordinating and communicating cross-functional activities among product development, marketing, and other teams in bringing new applications online
• Overseeing application coding and providing technical expertise and mentoring to other developers With 8+ years of experience an AS may be substituted for a BA/BS. With 12+ years of experience, no degree is required.
Subject Matter Expert (SME)
BA/BS >20 Recognized discipline expert among the NASA or military community. Possess specific knowledge on unique topic or discipline that is gained from experience over their career, networks, and projects.
Provides direction and insight into trends, mishaps, lessons learned, and successes in identified discipline to the team.
Develops content for training and outreach materials based on the concepts and knowledge gained from their experience in the field. Provides advice and guidance on benchmarking, strategies, and products.
Technical Specialist I HS 3-5 Responsible for ensuring the timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up steps. Requires experience and understanding of MIS environment. Is able to resolve less complex problems immediately, while more complex problems are assigned to second level support or supervisor. Typically involves use of problem management database and help desk system. May provide guidance/training for less experienced personnel.
Technical Specialist
II
HS 5-10 Under general direction, provides second-tier support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications, and hardware.
Handles problems that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems. Maintains currency and highest level of technical skill in field of expertise.

Require up to 5 years of experience and either a degree or knowledge in a specialized field—for example, engineering, medicine, or one of the sciences; others have broader requirements, such as a background in liberal arts. Knowledge of a second language is helpful for some positions.

Video Producer II BA/BS 5-10 Responsibilities include studying, investigating, and conducting activities and analysis on different aspects of development and production, including videography. Must be able to apply a wide range of concepts, practices, and procedures.
Video Producer III BA/BS >10 Responsibilities include studying, investigating, and conducting activities and analysis on different aspects of development and production, including videography. Must be able to apply a wide range of concepts, practices, and procedures.
Engineer III BS 10 This is considered an advanced level engineering position. Responsibilities may nclude conceptual thinking, designing and developing plans, processes, procedures, functional and data requirements analysis, complex system analysis, and documentation preparation for complex systems. May be required to manage, maintain, and evaluate software and develop software tools. May be required to supervise less experienced engineers. Requires expertise in the field of work specified. Engineering disciplines that may map into this SLC include mechanical, electrical, aerospace, propulsion, industrial, chemical, materials, computer, software, environmental, reliability, structures, thermal, software, and systems.
Analyst II BA/BS 5 This position is considered a junior level position. Responsibilities may include assisting designing and developing plans, processes, procedures, functional and data requirements analysis, system analysis, and documentation preparation for complex systems. Support the technical activities related to the development and integration of a project assigned to higher evel engineers or project manager. Duties may nclude configuration/data management, data analysis and tracking, editing and reviewing documentation/products, database management and risk management.
Project Manager BA/BS 15 At least 15 years’ experience working in the technical sector, with significant program management experience. Demonstrated ability n process improvement and management eadership for an organization of greater than 20 people. Demonstrated experience in federal contracting and subcontracting. Implement organizational processes to ensure effective ntegration of the workforce, staffing, development of workforce skills through ifecycle transitions, delivery of high-quality product and services, and contract mplementation.
