About this file
This document is a closeout package for a Public Safety Distributed Antenna System (PS-DAS) installation prepared by CableLytics for the Brevard County Board of Commissioners at the Viera Government Center Building E. The project was completed on 12/14/2023 and involved installing a Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) system, including providing and installing a Comba BDA and Base Band Unit (BBU), approximately 300 feet of armor guard coax throughout the building, antennas in ceiling junction boxes, a donor antenna on the roof, and a dedicated 20-amp circuit. The installation also included coordinating with the fire alarm company to connect alarms to the BDA and integrating the system per manufacturer specifications.
The closeout package includes comprehensive documentation such as as-built drawings for the first and second floors, detailed system screenshots showing configuration parameters and alarm status, RF sweep test results, installation photos of antennas and equipment, and a regulatory compliance statement. The documentation demonstrates that CableLytics followed all applicable industry standards, including OSHA safety requirements, and used equipment that meets industry standards. The project focused on enhancing public safety radio communication coverage within the government center building, with precise technical implementation and thorough post-installation documentation.
