About this file

This document is a General Decision wage determination for building construction projects in Indiana, effective January 30, 2026, superseding the previous determination IN20250002. The decision applies to 33 Indiana counties and covers building construction work excluding single-family homes and apartments up to four stories.

The wage determination establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for numerous construction trade classifications including asbestos workers, boilermakers, bricklayers, carpenters, cement masons, electricians, elevator mechanics, engineers, ironworkers, laborers, painters, plasterers, plumbers, roofers, sheet metal workers, sprinkler fitters, and truck drivers. Rates are organized by county or multi-county regions with specific pay scales for different worker classifications and skill levels. Fringe benefits are listed separately as percentages or dollar amounts per hour. Union rates identified with four-letter codes indicate the applicable collective bargaining agreement, while survey rates and state-adopted rates are also included. The document includes detailed power equipment operator classifications organized into groups with corresponding wage rates. Special provisions address paid holidays, vacation pay, paid sick leave under Executive Orders 13706 and 13658, and paid sick leave requirements for 2025 at minimum $13.30 per hour or the applicable higher wage rate. Wage determination appeal procedures are provided for interested parties to contest rates through the U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division and Administrative Review Board.
