About this file
This document is an attachment to the Elevator Preventative Maintenance, Repair, Inspection, and Testing Services solicitation (ITN No. DMS-21/22-198) issued by the State of Florida, Department of Management Services (DMS), Division of Real Estate Development and Management. The solicitation is for maintenance, repair, inspection, and testing services of elevators at facilities throughout the State of Florida, including in Leon County and the City of Tallahassee. The contract will require the successful contractor to provide a qualified technician to respond to service calls within specific timeframes, perform required inspections and tests, maintain inspection documentation, address any violations found, respond to emergency calls, provide sufficient staffing, maintain a maintenance control plan, submit monthly and quarterly reports, and provide certificates of competency and a reference library. Failure to meet any of the performance guarantees may result in credits being applied to the facility invoices or contract termination.
The solicitation does not provide specific details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or contract amounts. However, it does indicate that the contractor shall endeavor not to damage the Department's equipment, and if equipment is damaged, the Department may either allow the contractor to rectify the problem or perform the repair using the Department's personnel or other means, with credits being applied to the facility invoice.
