About this file
This document is an Audit Review Template for a peer review of selected episodes of care. The template includes instructions and questions to be completed by a reviewer regarding various aspects of the patient's care, including the appropriateness of diagnostic tests, timeliness of treatment, management of abnormal results, recognition and communication of clinical deterioration, and documentation quality. The template also allows for the reviewer to provide conclusions, recommendations, and references.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to establish multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for external expertise to conduct peer reviews of episodes of care, management reviews, medical advisory opinions, and other related services. The BPAs will have a period of performance of five years. Interested parties must submit quotes by July 02, 2024, at 10:00 AM ET. All questions must be submitted by June 11, 2024, at 10:00 AM ET.
