About this file

This is a price sheet attachment for the 5041 Frederick House Demolition Project solicited by Brevard County Purchasing Services on behalf of the Public Works Department in Florida. The project requires qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to completely demolish and remove a single-family residence and associated structures located at 5041 Frederick Avenue, West Melbourne, Florida 32904. The structure is a one-story residence built in 1964 with approximately 1,652 square feet of living area, a 392-square-foot attached garage, and a 120-square-foot screened porch. Work scope includes complete demolition and removal of all existing poured concrete slabs, clothesline structure, garden pavers, fencing, and all existing landscaping, including trees, within the project limits.

The price sheet establishes a base bid structure with two primary pricing components: a lump sum unit price for the overall project costs to provide all required labor, materials, equipment, and transportation, and a unit price schedule for clean fill dirt measured in cubic yards. The base bid accounts for 400 cubic yards of clean fill dirt, defined as all-natural soil consisting only of sandy soils free from stones, rocks, organics, oil, paint, and other deleterious materials, certified by the supplier. If the 400-cubic-yard quantity is not fully utilized, the County receives a credit for unused material based on the unit cost; conversely, if additional clean fill dirt is required beyond 400 cubic yards, the unit cost shall serve as the basis for any authorized change order.
