The U.S. Food and Drug Administration intends to award an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with 5-year ordering period, to obtain Nationwide Security Installation and Maintenance Services for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to support the execution of its mission to protect public health and its employees. The objective of the IDIQ contract is to: Enhance FDA’s ability to continually maintain and monitor the performance of all physical security systems;
Enable FDA to remain at a state of readiness to ensure that all physical security assets are inspected and certified; Enable FDA to rapidly and effectively respond to urgent physical security related situations; Enhance FDA’s ability to accurately retain data and physical security maintenance records;
Effectively maintain of all hardware and software associated with the FDA security systems throughout the United States and U.S territories; and, Effectively address FDA’s future requirements by installing new systems and updating or modifying existing systems.
