About this file

This is a Buy American Act Compliance Certification form required for solicitation 36C24626Q0784 for the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 6. The certification template requires offerors to certify that all construction materials proposed for Project 565-26-110, Replace Air Handling Unit #34, are either domestic construction materials as defined in FAR 52.225-9 or are identified as foreign construction materials in accordance with FAR 52.225-9.

For any foreign construction materials included in the bid, offerors must provide: (1) a statement explaining why a domestic item is not available, limited to reasons of nonavailability, unreasonable cost, or information technology that is a commercial product; (2) market research or comparable data justifying the use of the foreign construction item; and (3) proposed domestic alternatives with pricing, if applicable. The certification must be signed by an authorized representative of the offeror and constitutes a material representation of fact upon which the Government will rely. The document notes that submission of false information may result in contract termination and other remedies. This form serves as an appendix template to the broader solicitation rather than specifying independent requirements or deliverables.
