About this file
Attachment C is a detailed specification document for an FRP Anchor Kit for the United States Air Force Airfield Damage Repair Program. The kit comprises 500 anchor bushings, 600 upper joining bushings, 480 tri-talon anchor assemblies, 10 tri-talon set tools, 480 power-bolts, 8 utility buckets, and 44 ammo cans, all to be packaged in a QuadCon container with specific packaging and labeling requirements. Components are specified with precise material specifications, including steel grades, plating requirements, and threadlocking specifications, with detailed drawings provided in the accompanying appendix.
The procurement is part of a Sources Sought announcement for a potential 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, with the first order anticipated in late FY2027. The solicitation (FA8051-26-R-FRPPanelKits) is targeted at manufacturers in the Structural Metal Manufacturing sector (NAICS 332312), with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Interested contractors must submit capability statements by 1400 CST on 10 September 2025 to specified Air Force contacts, addressing various capability and business structure questions, with the potential for the requirement to extend to other Department of Defense agencies.
