About this file

This document is an instruction attachment from the North Dakota Department of Transportation (ND DOT) for the IFTA Decals printing contract opportunity. The attachment provides application and placement instructions for fuel decals that must be affixed to power units traveling into International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) member jurisdictions. Each vehicle is issued two decals with specific placement requirements: one decal must be positioned on the lower rear exterior portion of the cab's passenger side (or driver's side for buses), and the second decal must be placed on the opposite side of the vehicle. The application instructions specify that decals should be applied to clean, smooth, wax-free surfaces at moderate temperatures, with the decal peeled from its paper backing and firmly rubbed onto the surface. Non-compliance with the required decal placement locations may result in citations or require purchase of a fuel trip permit.

The document serves as a current sample specification for vendors submitting bids on the IFTA Decals printing contract. No specific pricing terms, contract duration, set-asides, funding amounts, or response deadlines are detailed within this attachment. This appears to be a technical specification document rather than a complete solicitation, indicating that interested vendors should refer to the primary contract opportunity documents for complete procurement details, pricing requirements, and submission instructions.
