About this file
This is a technical specifications document for a mobile rock crusher required by the United States Air Force. The Air Force is procuring one (1) brand new Eagle Rock Crusher or equivalent unit (NSN 3820-01-065-3914) capable of processing 200 tons per hour or greater for secondary and tertiary crushing operations. The unit must be track-mounted with a 400 horsepower diesel engine (DEF or REGEN systems acceptable for worldwide operation), featuring a 4-5 cubic yard hopper with two-stage grizzly feeder, jaw crusher with minimum 36" x 24" inlet, two pre-screen decks of at least 20 square feet each, and dual conveyor systems (40-48" wide main conveyor, 24-26" wide side conveyor). All hydraulic and engine fluids, check locations, and controls must be clearly labeled, with the operator's station equipped with safety platforms, ladders, and standard engine monitoring gauges.
The equipment must include manufacturer's standard corrosion/rustproof protection with a minimum five-year life expectancy (automotive-grade primer/paint only; powder coating unacceptable), a 12-month manufacturer warranty, and complete parts and service manuals in both hard copy and electronic format at delivery. The contractor is responsible for delivery to the United States west coast port with final destination in Yigo, Guam. Mandatory familiarization training includes initial operator setup (minimum 24 hours on-site) and maintenance setup (minimum 24 hours on-site) at one location, with warranty commencing upon completion of familiarization. Military data plates with specified nomenclature, serial number, NSN, weight specifications, delivery date, contract number, and shipping details must be affixed to the equipment.
