The equipment is designated NSN 3820-00-060-1841 and must comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, MIL-STD-1791, and MIL-STD-209, with air transportability certification on C-17 and C-5 aircraft.
The specifications require a comprehensive machine configuration including a heavy-duty receiving hopper (minimum 6 feet x 15 feet), vibrating grizzly feeder (32 inch x 14 feet with 20 HP motor), horizontal shaft impactor (Eagle Ultra Max Primary/Secondary, 21,700 lbs.), multiple conveyors (36-inch plant conveyor, 18-inch return and cross conveyors, 42-inch fines conveyor), and a 4-deck vibrating screen (4 feet x 12 feet). The plant must be mounted on a 24-inch wide flange beam tri-axle trailer with air ride suspension and include hydraulic service power with four stiff-leg cylinders, a 150 HP electric motor with soft start panel, and complete central control panel with remote operator pendant. The vendor must provide automotive-grade paint with a minimum 5-year corrosion protection warranty, manufacturer's standard color, and deliver complete parts and service manuals including diagnostic software compatible with Windows 10 (64-bit). The contractor shall provide a minimum 40-hour operator familiarization and 40-hour maintenance familiarization on-site, maintain a minimum 24-month warranty on all components, include military data plates with specified information, and submit technical documentation to Hannah Barton at AFLCMC/Support Equipment & Vehicles per DFARS clause 252.227-7015.
