The contract term is twenty-four months from execution with potential extensions for two additional twelve-month periods. The project is funded in part by a Florida Department of Environmental Protection Grant Agreement totaling $250,000 with no county match requirement. Contractors must maintain a five percent bid bond and a 100 percent Performance and Payment Bond if the contract exceeds $200,000, with liquidated damages assessed at $100 per day past the final completion date. Work hours are restricted to Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., unless specifically approved by the County Project Manager.
