About this file

This document is Attachment 8 containing current site photographs for the ONPVC Sewer Line Repair project at Olympic National Park, contract number 140P8326Q0022. The photographs were taken on March 2, 2026, and document the existing conditions and planned scope of the sewer line repair work.

The photographic documentation shows the location of a sewer line repair area approximately 10-20 feet from an existing manhole, with measurements indicated by reference tapes. The images depict the alignment of the proposed repair work relative to a red curb along a paved surface adjacent to park facilities. Figure 4 shows the estimated alignment of a water service line into the Visitor Center. Figure 5 provides internal views of the existing manhole, showing channels from both the Visitor Center and Comfort Station. The manhole is documented to have an approximate average depth of 55 inches from bench to top of rim (Figure 6). Figure 7 illustrates defective grout and channel conditions at the Comfort Station lateral penetration into the manhole, indicating the deterioration requiring repair work. These site photographs serve as baseline documentation for contractors bidding on or executing the sewer system rehabilitation project.
