Groundater discharges to the ground surface at Niagara Falls ARS are regulated by NYSDEC SPDES Permit GP-0-12-001.

Groundwater contained in manholes/excavations can be discharged to the ground surface ONLY if uncontaminated.

Dewatering personnel shall visually inspect groundwater in manhole/excavation prior to discharge and follow instructions below.

Groundwater shall not be discharged directly to storm or sanitary sewer.
