1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION:

2.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

[This section is a description of the construction project: what is being built, what is the extent of excavation, etc. A location map showing the location of the project should also be presented.

Include any off-site soil storage or deposit locations. ]

3.0 SOILS:

[The types and percentages of soils present at the project site should be described and shown on a map.]

4.0 TOPOGRAPHY AND DRAINAGE:

[The bulk of this section is a topographic map of the project site that includes surface waters, project boundaries, roadways, etc. The scale of the map should be one inch equals 100 feet or less with two-foot contour intervals. This section must also show what the final alterations to the site will look like upon project completion. The topographic map is typically used as a starting point to show the new, post-construction contour lines.]

5.0 STAGING OF EARTH MOVING ACTIVITIES:

[A schedule and timeline of staging activities, as well as other E&S control measures, must be provided in this section.]

6.0 STORMWATER MANAGEMENT:

[The quantity of runoff from the project site must be determined in this section in order to properly design the correct E&S and stormwater management controls.]

7.0 POLLUTION PREVENTION:

[Provide a description of the measures to control litter, construction chemicals, and construction debris from becoming a pollutant source in the stormwater.]

8.0 TEMPORARY E&S CONTROL MEASURES:

[All temporary erosion control measures to be used at the site must be described and their locations shown on a map. Including any off-site soil storage or deposit locations.]

9.0 PERMANENT E&S CONTROL MEASURES:

[All permanent erosion control measures to be used at the site must be described and their locations shown on a map. Also, stabilization techniques to be used upon project completion must be presented. Including any off-site soil storage or deposit locations.]

10.0 INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE PROGRAM FOR E&S CONTROL MEASURES

[An inspection and maintenance program for the project site must be identified in this section.

This section ensures that pollution prevention and E&S measures are operating correctly. The results from these inspections can result in modifications to the stormwater controls and changes to the Plan. Documentation of the inspections is required.]
