About this file
These documents are Registers of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act (SCA) for three distinct geographic areas in Colorado, issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division, effective as of December 3, 2025.
Wage Determination No. 2015-5435 covers Colorado Counties of Archuleta, Chaffee, Delta, Dolores, Fremont, Gunnison, Hinsdale, La Plata, Montezuma, Montrose, Ouray, San Juan, and San Miguel. Wage Determination No. 2015-5423 covers Mesa County. Wage Determination No. 2015-5433 covers Alamosa, Baca, Bent, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Custer, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Mineral, Otero, Prowers, Rio Grande, and Saguache Counties. Each determination lists hundreds of occupation classifications spanning administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional positions, laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operations, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation roles. Hourly wage rates vary by occupation and location, ranging from approximately $13.89 to $59.82 per hour. All occupations include fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour for health and welfare (up to 40 hours weekly, or $222.00 per week or $962.00 per month), plus an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13706. Employees receive two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after fifteen years. A minimum of eleven paid holidays annually is mandated. Hazardous duty differentials of 8 percent and 4 percent apply to specified ordnance and explosives work. Uniform allowances of $3.35 per week are provided where applicable. Computer employees exempt under FLSA sections 13(a)(1) and 13(a)(17) are excluded. Air traffic controllers and weather observers receive night pay differentials and Sunday premiums. The conformance process requires contractors to request authorization for unlisted occupations via Standard Form 1444, with approval required from the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division prior to commencing work in new classifications.
