About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division for federal service contracts in California County of Santa Barbara (Wage Determination No. 2015-5647, Revision 26, effective December 3, 2025).

The document establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits required for service contractors performing work under the Service Contract Act in the specified geographic area. It lists over 200 occupation codes and titles across multiple job categories including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry and dry-cleaning, machine tool operation, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical occupations, and transportation/mobile equipment. Wage rates range from $15.84 per hour for Taxi Drivers to $72.66 per hour for Nuclear Medicine Technologists. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week) for health and welfare coverage, plus vacation accrual (2 weeks after 1 year of service, 3 weeks after 5 years, 4 weeks after 15 years), and a minimum of twelve paid holidays annually. Computer-related positions have footnoted exemptions for exempt computer professionals earning at least $27.63 per hour or $684 per week. Air traffic controllers and weather observers receive additional night pay differentials (10% for night hours between 6pm-6am) and Sunday pay premiums (25% of basic rate). Hazardous pay differentials of 8 percent and 4 percent apply to designated positions working with ordnance and explosives. Special uniform allowance provisions and conformance procedures for unlisted job classifications are detailed, requiring SF-1444 submissions to the Department of Labor for wage determination approval.
