About this file
This document specifies insurance requirements for a contract, likely a state or local government procurement in Texas based on the regulatory references to the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI).
The contractor must maintain three types of insurance coverage: Workers' Compensation insurance of $100,000, which must be issued by a TDI-licensed insurer and regulated by the TDI with guarantees provided by the Texas Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association; Comprehensive General Liability Insurance for Bodily Injury of $500,000 per occurrence; and Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance with limits of $200,000 per person, $500,000 per occurrence for bodily injury, and $20,000 per occurrence for property damages. All insurance requirements must be maintained throughout contract performance to ensure adequate protection for the government entity and third parties.
