About this file
This document is a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standard form 52.212-3, which provides Offeror Representations and Certifications for Commercial Products and Commercial Services dated May 2024. The multi-page document requires potential government contractors to complete various representations and certifications regarding their business, including small business status, ownership structure, compliance with labor standards, and specific legal and regulatory requirements.
Key certification areas include representations about small business categories (such as service-disabled veteran-owned, women-owned, economically disadvantaged women-owned), compliance with child labor laws, Buy American provisions, trade agreement compliance, tax liability status, and declarations about business operations in specific regions like Sudan and Iran. Contractors must disclose information about their corporate structure, ownership, immediate and highest-level owners, and attest to various legal and ethical standards. The form is designed to be completed electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM) and helps the government assess a contractor's eligibility and qualifications for federal contracts.
