About this file

This document includes an attachment providing a template for calculating the percentage of self-performed work on a federal construction contract, along with details of a related federal contract opportunity.

The contract opportunity is a solicitation by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 9 Central Region to provide construction services for post-surgical patient safety improvements at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1 million, it has a 180-day completion timeframe, and is set aside exclusively for verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The attachment provides a template for prime contractors and subcontractors to calculate the required minimum 15% of self-performed personnel costs for contracts under NAICS code 236220. It includes tables to itemize personnel and material/equipment costs by specification division to determine the total self-performance amount.
