About this file
This document is a technical installation manual for the Master unit truck bed system provided by Mory Inc., a supplier for vehicle upfitting services in New Hampshire. The manual provides detailed step-by-step instructions for the proper installation of the Master unit into truck beds, specifically addressing variations for Ford F-250 and F-350 models. The installation procedure encompasses nine primary steps, beginning with tailgate removal and concluding with electrical connection and verification checks. Key components include the SHIM KIT installation, lockdown arm positioning using 9/16" sockets, electrical pigtail connection to a 7-way hitch output, and optional finishing checker plate attachment. The manual emphasizes that installation verification should occur 24-48 hours after initial installation, with periodic re-verification recommended after several weeks of use and thereafter.
The document underscores critical safety and liability considerations, with Mory Inc. explicitly disclaiming responsibility for damages resulting from improper installation procedures. The manual stresses that improper lockdown placement or installation can lead to unit displacement and potential damage to both the Master unit and the vehicle. Rubber pads are included for installation below lockdown plates to protect trucks without plastic guards. Mory Inc. provides customer support through multiple contact channels, including telephone (1-800-924-9804 and 418-885-8151), website (www.moryinc.com and www.mastertruckbody.com), and email (info@moryinc.com), with physical locations in St-Anselme and St-Nicolas, Quebec.

Master unit - Installation procedure.
Mory Inc. Will not be liable for damages, if these steps, are not properly, followed.
1. Start by removing the tailgate of the truck.
2. Install - SHIM KIT*, Start with the 2 front and back pieces, before installing the other crossings.* Some SHIM KITS are NOT the same, yours may be differ from the pic below.
* Unique features of the different sets of installation kits and trucks:
- Some models do not have crossings and are composed of only one front and one back component.
- Ford F-250 / F-350: To Install the first part of the installation kit and your Master, you must FIRST remove, only 1 of the 2 (Stock) load fasteners located on the inside wall of the truck bed (at the front) and then remove the top tailgate pins (at the rear) the pins used to open & close the tailgate.
3. Remove the plastic cap, using the appropriate tool, behind each of the Masters 4 lock downs.
4. Insert the Master in the truck bed, making sure it is well supported and properly positioned on the installation kit, on each side and forward to front.
5. Take care, to position the tip or the end of the lockdown arm, to the inside corner of the bedrail before tightening firmly with a 9/16"socket.
Repeat for the other 3 attachments. A single lockdown misplaced, or improperly installed can eventually lead to the loosening and or displacement, of the Master unit, in the truck bed. Prolonged use of a insecurely mounted Master may damage the Master unit and / or truck.
6. Undo step 3: Replace the 4 caps back into their holes.
CAUTION: As you do not want to lose them between the Master unit and the bed of your truck!
7. Now connect the Master units electrical pigtail into the7 way output, that comes with the hitch option. Then attach the wire securely to the truck.
8. If included, screw the finishing checker plate on the back of the truck using self-drilling screws.
9. Once installed verify install 24/48 hours after original install. Verification of install or tightness is recommended after few weeks of use and periodically thereafter. A single lockdown misplaced or improperly installed can lead to the loosening and displacement of the Master unit in the truck bed. Prolonged use of an insecurely mounted
Master may damage the Master unit and / or truck.
