About this file
This document is Attachment 4 containing the Degradation Index (DI) Scores table, which appears to be part of the UICAP Process Documentation for evaluating infrastructure condition at Naval Station Newport. The table establishes a 1-5 rating scale for assessing asset conditions, where scores are imported from Direct Condition Ratings in Maximo.
The DI scoring system ranges from 1 (no noticeable defects, fully functional) to 5 (extensive deterioration, not functional or beyond repair). Intermediate scores include: 2 (minor deterioration requiring minimal maintenance), 3 (evident deterioration requiring minor repairs but function not significantly affected), and 4 (serious deterioration significantly affecting function, requiring extensive repairs or replacement). This scoring system appears designed to help evaluate the condition of water and wastewater infrastructure assets that are part of the proposed land exchange agreement.
