About this file
This document contains technical specifications for field testing and inspection of electrical systems for the USAID/South Sudan Juba Compound Electrical Upgrade project. The specifications cover qualifications for independent testing agencies and personnel, test equipment suitability and calibration, coordination requirements, and reporting procedures. Key systems to be tested include medium-voltage cables and equipment, transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, generators, UPS systems, and lightning protection. Testing agencies must be certified by NETA or NICET and independent of component manufacturers, suppliers, and installers. Test equipment must comply with NETA standards for suitability and calibration. Comprehensive reports are required documenting test methods, settings, expected and actual measurement results.
