About this file
This is a Maintenance Task List document that outlines operating inspection procedures for HVAC/cooling and heating systems, as well as control panel operations.
The document specifies three primary maintenance categories: Operating Inspection-Cooling, Operating Inspection-Heating Section, and Operating Inspections-Tracer 100 control panel. The Cooling section comprises 16 tasks including recording operating parameters (temperatures, pressures, voltages, amperages), checking and calibrating safety controls, recording megohm readings for fan and compressor motors, inspecting and maintaining the main starter, checking oil levels and crankcase heaters, lubricating and adjusting components, inspecting coils and fans, maintaining belt alignment and tension, and changing filters as required. The Heating Section contains 10 tasks covering safety control verification, motor and control panel terminal tightening, crankcase heater inspection, damper operation checks, lubrication, filter changes, heat element inspection, and control wiring verification. The Tracer 100 control panel operating inspections include 7 tasks: cleaning the panel interior, tightening terminators, checking for loose or damaged parts, recording transformer voltages, verifying input readings through event logs and status displays, confirming manual override switch positions, and inspecting the physical condition of all listed equipment. All sections emphasize conditional maintenance activities (indicated by "where applicable") and require reporting of uncorrected deficiencies to the operator.
