Maintenance coverage includes consumables (toner and drum), parts, preventative maintenance, and certified Fiery software support. The lease will operate on a usage-based structure for a base period with four option periods, and the contractor must provide an end-of-lease purchase option for the equipment.

Lease and Maintenance of Ricoh Pro Production Printers Statement of Work (SOW)
A. Background Information The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS), National Operations Division (NOD) operates a Print Mail Center (PMC) at 9700 Page Ave., St. Louis, MO 63132. The PMC is responsible for printing, folding, inserting and mailing hundreds of thousands of reports, communications, and survey forms each year. Various machines are utilized to complete these processes including multiple high-speed printers and document finishing units.
Data collected from survey forms and respondent communications are used to produce hundreds of agricultural reports including Principle Federal Economic Indicator reports.
B. Purpose and Objectives of the Acquisition
The NASS NOD PMC requires the lease of two (2) Ricoh Pro high-speed printers with finishing units.
The lease of these units will provide the updated technology and additional equipment required to meet operational needs. In addition, NASS currently owns and utilizes peripheral finishing equipment to include folders, trimmers and bookletmaker that is only compatible with Ricoh production printers. NASS requires the lease of two Ricoh Pro 8410s printers and (usage based) maintenance for a base period with four (4) option periods. NASS requires the Contractor has a local presence to ensure operational status of the equipment is maintained and is an authorized dealer of
Ricoh USA, Inc. products and services.
C. Contractor Requirements
The Contractor shall supply the following production printers with peripheral equipment as listed to include delivery, set-up and training at the work site:
Ricoh Pro 8410s – Quantity 1:
• Scanner
• Vacuum Feed LCIT
• EB-36 Fiery Color Controller
• Finisher
• Multi-Folding Unit Ricoh Pro 8410s – Quantity 1:
• Scanner
• Vacuum Feed LCIT
• E-36 Fiery Color Controller
• Finisher The Contractor shall offer a service agreement/maintenance contract on the equipment to include:
• On-site service by local, manufacturer trained technicians
• Four-hour response time for service calls placed during business hours (8:00AM – 5:00 PM) Mon – Fri except Federal holidays
• Consumables to include toner & drum
• Parts
• Preventative maintenance
• Certified Fiery software support
The Contractor shall provide end of lease purchase option.
