About this file

This document is an attachment detailing a greenhouse ventilation system modification. The project involves replacing existing ventilation components with a new system that includes removing glass from the center divider wall, replacing supply fans with exhaust fans, installing sidewall louvered vents with 100-mesh screening, and integrating a new control system. The ventilation system features recirculation fans, exhaust fans, infrared heaters, shutters, cooling pads, and a control mechanism.

The controls operation describes a multi-stage cooling process where fans, exhaust fans, and louvers activate sequentially based on temperature, with the system automatically switching between heating and cooling modes. During heating, recirculation fans operate normally and infrared heaters activate. The system will use an iGrow 800 Environmental controller supplied by the government, with the contractor responsible for wiring and device installation. All control wirings must be run in conduit, and relays and contacts must be duty-rated for equipment control.
