About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the replacement of an overhead door and motor at Building 424, East entrance, located at Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma. The project requires a contractor to provide a new door curtain and motor with specific technical requirements, including a 1/2 HP motor, white color, wind rating of 115 MPH, minimum R-value of 4, and a material defect warranty of at least 2 years. The existing door is damaged, non-functional, and must be manually moved, necessitating a complete replacement to restore a fully operational electrical door system.
The project falls under a 100% Small Business Set Aside with NAICS code 339999, and requires contractors to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The facility will remain occupied 24/7 during the work, and the contractor must coordinate material staging, provide all transportation and labor for installation and removal, and repair any potential damage at no additional cost to the government. Contractors must comply with local, state, federal, and Department of Defense codes, and are advised to field-verify existing as-built drawings before submitting a proposal.
