About this file

This draft task order and related federal contract opportunity document outline the requirements for aerial target systems to support Army training operations. The task order calls for the phase-in of three target types - MQM-170, MQM-171, and MQM-186 aerial targets - to meet performance specifications. Line items include phase-in support, 10 MQM-170 systems, one MQM-171 system, and one MQM-186 system, as well as contract data deliverables. Pricing is fixed firm for the production line items. Delivery is required by February 2023 to the Army's Targets Management Office.

The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice for an IDIQ contract to provide aerial target support to various Army and DoD customers over five years. The incumbent contract is held by Program Manager Cyber Test Training. The anticipated 100% small business set-aside contract under NAICS 336411 has an estimated award date in Q1 FY2022. Interested vendors are requested to provide capabilities statements by March 2021 demonstrating experience in aerial target production and identifying any risks and mitigation approaches for the program.
