About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for NASA Stennis Space Center requiring the procurement of ASME-certified pressure vessels for hydrogen, methane, and nitrogen storage.
NASA Stennis Space Center requires two ASME Section VIII Division 1, 2, or 3 certified pressure vessels, each with a volume of approximately 625 cubic feet (1,250 cubic feet total). Vessels must be constructed from SA372 Grade J material or equivalent, rated for 15,000 PSIG design pressure, and feature high-quality workmanship with corrosion-resistant coating suitable for Gulf Coast environments. Vendors may propose either an Assembly Pack Configuration Option consisting of four tubes arranged vertically in an I-beam support structure with 1-inch medium pressure end connections and integrated lifting points, or a Single Bottle Option featuring a single 15,000 PSIG vessel with a 6-inch R-Con connection. All vessels must be cleaned to minimum Level 400A per RPTSTD-8070-0001 and surface-prepared for long-term outdoor corrosion protection. Delivery is required to Building 4010, NASA Stennis Space Center, Mississippi 39529, no later than 42 weeks after contract award. Vendors must provide submittal drawings for NASA Engineering approval prior to construction, technical datasheets, ASME certification documentation, hydrostatic and non-destructive examination test reports, full material and manufacturing traceability, and an ASME code stamp for each vessel. A 12-month warranty period applies from the date of delivery. Vendors shall specify their expected delivery schedule and transportation method.
