RIA-JMTC electronic keys ond access posses ore accountable items and wi 11 be returned within 24 hours of no longer being needed. Items wi 11 returned to the COR or placed in o drop box ot o RIA-JMTC access point.

NOTES

1, THE CONTRACTOR WILL USE WATER TO ELIMINATE

OUST DURING ENTIRE CONSTRUCTION,

2, WHEN SAW CUTTING FLOOR AROUND WORK AREA,

REBAR WILL BE PRESENT ANO MUST BE CUT OFF EVEN

WI TH SAW CUTS,

3, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REPAIR ANY DAMAGE TO

FLOOR OR THE UNDERLYING SOIL CAUSED BY THE

CONSTRUCTION,

◄, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL DEBRIS SUCH

AS BOLTS, CANS, BEAMS, CONDUIT, PLATES, PIPES, WOOD

BLOCKS, CONCRETE AND REBAR OFF RIA IN ACCORDANCE

WITH LOCAL REGULATIONS,

5, CONTRACTOR SHALL VENT EXHAUST OUTS I DE, IF

EQUIPMENT USED ARE GAS ENGINES,

-CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE CATALYTIC•

CONVERTER ON ALL DIESEL ENGINES,

6, NEW CONCRETE FOR MACHINE FOUNDATION SHALL BE

A MIN, 5000 PSI,

7, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CLEANUP THE WORKSITE

AFTER COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT,

8, EXPANSION JOINT MATERIAL UP TO 8◄' DEEP TYPICAL,

AFTER CLEANUP IS COMPLETE, LINE FOUNDATION WITH

1/2" RIGID FOAM INSULATION FOR VIBRATION ISOLATION,

JOINT SEALANT SHALL BE BASF SONOLASTIC SL-1 OR EQUAL,

11. BARRICADES WILL BE POSITIONED 6' FROM EACH SIDE OF THE WORK AREA,

CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AND PLACE THE BARRICADES

12, CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE SPOTTER / GROUND MAN

FOR EQUIPMENT / TRUCKS GOING IN ANO OUT OF BLDG,

13, DOUBLE TIED LAYER OF #4 REBAR 11/2'1, 12' X-W

SPACING, REBAR SHOULD BE A MIN OF 3• AWAY FROM

TOP OR BOTTOM SURFACE AND HAVE A MINUMUM OF 2 RODS

IN EACH DIRECTION, DOWELS WILL BE DRILLED A

MINIMUM OF 6' INTO THE VERTICAL FACE OF THE

EXISTING CONCRETE,

1◄, CONSOLIDATE PLACED CONCRETE USING MECHANICAL VIBRATING

EQUIPMENT WITH HAND RODDING AND TAMPING SO THAT CONCRETE

IS WORKED AROUND REINFORCING ANO OTHER EMBEDDED ITEMS

AND INTO FORMS,

15, FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION OF STRUCTURAL STEEL

SHALL COMPLY WITH LATEST AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF STEEL

CONSTRUCTION CAISCI STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS. ALL

WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED BY COMPETENT, EXPERIENCED,

QUALi FI ED WORK ME NT, 16, ANY DISCREPANCIES IN PLANS, OR BETWEEN PLANS AND

SPECIFICATIONS, SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF
