Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) are required for previously approved TDPs to verify applicability to new delivery orders.
The SOW establishes comprehensive requirements for Lot Acceptance Testing (LAT), which must not occur prior to TDP or ECP approval and requires 60-day advance notification to allow for government attendance. The contractor must conduct a Test Readiness Review at least two days before LAT and provide all testing results and ammunition data cards in a LAT Report within seven days of completion. Government Source Inspection (GSI) occurs at the contractor's facility with DCMA Quality Assurance Representatives or SAWS Representatives, with the contractor providing 14-day advance notification. Acceptance is made by DCMA QAR Inspectors and PdL SAWS Acceptors based on source inspection, Item Information and Certification Statements (IICS), and Wide Area Workflow receiving reports. The contractor must submit a Safety Management Program Plan or Safety Site Plan Verification Statement within 30 days of award, obtain Department of Transportation explosive hazard classification and EX-Numbers at least 30 days prior to delivery, and provide Interim Hazard Classification information at least 30 days before shipment.
