About this file

This Statement of Work details requirements for the design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of new slatwall console systems at the Orlando Executive Airport Air Traffic Control Tower in Florida. The project involves replacing the original 1984 wooden turret-style consoles with modern slatwall consoles while maintaining continuous air traffic operations during installation.

The scope includes designing new perimeter consoles with slatwall and CPU storage, demolishing existing consoles, installing raised flooring in the supervisor's area, relocating electrical and plumbing components, and replacing convenience areas with new sinks and millwork. Key deliverables include 10% design drawings due March 10, 2025, 70% drawings due April 25, 2025, and final design due June 9, 2025. Installation must occur in phases during non-operational hours (tower operates 0700-2200 local time), with each phase lasting 4 weeks. The contractor must provide warranties ranging from 5-10 years on various components. The project requires coordination with FAA Engineering Services, Tech Ops, and Air Traffic personnel, with contractor personnel requiring security clearance for facility access. Mock-ups must be demonstrated via video conference after the 100% design package submission.
