About this file
This is a Questions and Answers amendment (Amendment 0002) for SIR No. 697DCK-R-00069 regarding the Orlando Executive Airport Air Traffic Control Tower Slatwall/Consoles Design, Fabrication, Delivery, and Installation project.
The amendment clarifies several technical specifications and project timelines: CAD files and renderings will be provided; the Console Manufacturer is responsible for demolition of existing consoles; seismic anchoring is not required; the supervisor station will be a 36" high free-standing workstation instead of a raised platform; existing ground plates will remain with additional plates required in the slatwall console; standard 36" counter heights are acceptable; and a drop-in stainless steel sink with laminate countertop is approved. The mock-up requirement has changed to a virtual 3D rendering prior to manufacturing. Installation is planned for 4 weeks per phase, with contractors only needed on-site during demo, electrical, and console installation. Key dates include anticipated award on March 15, 2025, 10% design drawings due March 31, 2025, and 70% design drawings due April 25, 2025, with dates subject to change based on final award timing.
