About this file

This is a Statement of Objectives for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) task order for local office moving services at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The BPA will be awarded as needed under Blanket Purchase Authority for a 5-year period, with the performance start date requested 90 days after award. The Contracting Officer will request site surveys and binding estimates from contractors for moving services; upon government acceptance of an estimate, the Contractor will receive a BPA Call number and proceed with performance. The place of performance encompasses various locations on Fort Leavenworth, with the Contracting Officer's Representative being Andrew Talmage from DPW Service Contracts and end users being various tenants on the base.

The contract requires five primary tasks: (1) Inventory Management—cataloging and organizing furniture in warehouse storage by type to facilitate retrieval; (2) Relocation Planning—site visits to measure office spaces and determine furniture fit prior to installation; (3) Time and Price Estimates—providing cost and schedule estimates before each job; (4) Systems Furniture Disassembly and Assembly—managing all labor, tools, equipment, and expertise to assemble, disassemble, modify, and relocate office furniture including workstations, chairs, bookcases, lockers, and cabinets; and (5) Loading and Unloading/Delivery and Setup—providing manpower, transportation, and equipment to pack, crate, load, unload, deliver, and set up items. The Contractor is responsible for providing all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to deliver performance-based, results-oriented services using commercial best practices. Late deliveries must be communicated to the COR with rationale and expected dates. Deliverables are considered accepted by default if the Government provides no written notice of non-conformity within 10 business days of final delivery.
