About this file

This document is a Hosted Solution Questionnaire from the North Clackamas School District (NCSD) Technology and Information Services department, designed to evaluate potential technology vendors and their software platforms. The questionnaire comprehensively assesses technical capabilities across multiple domains including end-point requirements, system security, cybersecurity frameworks, user access flexibility, and account rostering capabilities. The document requires potential vendors to provide detailed information about their software's browser compatibility, client software installation requirements, authentication methods, data storage practices, security certifications, multi-factor authentication support, and compatibility with various identity management systems like OneRoster, Classlink RosterServer, Google Workspace, and Active Directory.

The questionnaire emphasizes critical security and data privacy considerations, requiring vendors to disclose their cybersecurity frameworks, data access and usage policies, and student data handling practices. Vendors must specify their compliance with frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27000 series, and Center for Internet Security controls. The document also requires vendors to clarify their stance on data ownership, indicating that NCSD retains exclusive rights to all uploaded, stored, and processed data. Additionally, the questionnaire probes vendors' capabilities for manual and automated account creation, potential overrides of roster data, and willingness to sign student data privacy agreements. Vendors must provide comprehensive details about their platform's authentication methods, rostering capabilities, and commitment to protecting the school district's digital ecosystem.
