Original Controller(s) New Controller(s) B2 AHU-1 Control
Start/Stop Control During occupied hours the AHU fan(s) will run continuously and during unoccupied hours the fan(s) will be off. If the controller receives an emergency shutdown signal from the supervisory system, the emergency shutdown output shall be activated, disabling the fan(s). If the low temperature alarm activates the system shall be shut down, closing the outdoor air damper and opening the heating coil valve.
Temperature Control Utilize AHU zone temperature to control discharge air setpoint between maximum (75 degF, adj.) and minimum (55 degF, adj.) values based on deviation from zone temperature setpoint (70 degF, adj.). Modulate dampers and heating and cooling valves to maintain discharge air temperature at its setpoint. If outdoor air dry bulb temperature goes above the economizer setpoint (55 degF, adj.), control mixed air dampers to minimum position (10% OA, adj.). Mixed air dampers shall also modulate to ensure the mixed air temperature does not drop below the mixed air low limit setpoint (53 degF, adj.), closing to less than minimum position if necessary.
Finned Tube Radiation Control When steam is available, modulate finned tube radiation valve(s) to maintain the zone(s) to their respective setpoint (70 degF, adj.)
