About this file

This is an Attachment 5 document from the Department of General Services Procurement Division for a Wheelchair Lift Van Conversion (Event ID 38047, BU 5225). The document establishes requirements for descriptive literature that bidders must submit as part of their bid response. Bidders are required to submit comprehensive technical documentation that clearly demonstrates how their offered product meets all specifications, including the manufacturer's name, brand, model number, and relevant product details. The literature must include sufficient technical information such as dimensions, materials, and performance features to allow verification of specification compliance. Additionally, when an "equal" item is offered as a substitute, bidders must provide documentation demonstrating equivalency to the specified product.

All descriptive literature must be professionally prepared using computer-generated materials; handwritten or incomplete submissions will not be accepted. The submission of required descriptive literature is mandatory and must accompany the bid response. Failure to provide the required descriptive literature may result in the bid being deemed nonresponsive and subject to rejection. This requirement ensures that the Department of General Services receives adequate documentation to evaluate whether proposed wheelchair lift van conversions meet the procurement specifications and performance standards established for this project.
