About this file

This contract bid schedule solicits pricing for rehabilitation work at the Peaks View Parking Area in Pinnacles National Park. Offerors must submit pricing for four base line items including mobilization, site preparation, demolition, grading, paving, amenities, a drinking fountain/bottle filling station, and a vault toilet. Pricers are also requested for an additive line item to construct a custom-built vault toilet building in lieu of the standard precast option. Award will be made based on either the total of the base line items or the base plus the additive line item, at the discretion of the contracting officer based on available funding. Pricing must be provided in whole dollars for each line item and extended totals. Evaluation will consider best value to the government.

CONTRACT BID SCHEDULE

SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P8420R0003

PARK ‐ PMIS: PINN ‐ 198912

PROJECT TITLE: Rehabilitate the Peaks View Parking Area, Pinnacles National Park, San Benito County, CA

Notice: Offerors are required to submit, at a minimum, an offer that conforms to the solicitation documents with pricing for Base line items and Additive line item. Failure to do so may render the proposal unacceptable. On lump‐sum line items, provide the total price only. If no specific line item exists for a portion of the work, include the costs in a related item. In case of error in calculation of extended prices, the unit price governs. In case of error in summation, the total of the corrected amounts govern. Round totals and extended prices to whole dollars.

Pricing will be evaluated based on what is determined to be the best value to the Government. The additive item may or may not be awarded based on the judgment of the Contracting Officer to offer the best value to the Government.

Price award will be made based upon one of the following equations. The equation that is used will be at the Government’s discretion based upon available funding at the time of award.

Equation 1: Base Price

Equation 2: Base Price + Additive Item #1
