About this file
The file is a Price Breakout Schedule for a VA Medical Center project at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee. The solicitation (Number 36C24925B0005) is for Building 160 Kitchen Air Handling Unit (AHU-4) Replacement, with a project performance period of 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The scope involves completely preparing the site, demolishing existing structures, and installing a new HVAC system in the fourth-floor mechanical room to condition the kitchen hood supply, with work to be performed during normal hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm ET) and potentially during nights and weekends to maintain kitchen operations.
The price breakout template provides a detailed cost breakdown structure across multiple divisions including General Conditions, General Requirements, Existing Conditions, HVAC, Electrical, and Electronic Safety and Security. The document specifies tax rates, overhead (10%), profit (10%), and bonding/permit fees (3%), though the actual cost fields are blank. The VA Network Contracting Office requires contractors to provide granular pricing details for each division, with specific instructions that lump-sum pricing will not be accepted and that contractors should break down costs to the greatest possible degree.
