About this file

The file is an Excel spreadsheet template for calculating contractor self-performed work for a VA Medical Center project. The document requires offerors (specifically for NAICS code 236220 - general construction) to demonstrate that at least 15% of the contract performance costs for personnel must be performed by a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), either the prime contractor or verified SDVOSB subcontractors.

The template provides a structured format for breaking down personnel and material/equipment costs by specification division, with sections for tracking prime and subcontractor costs, calculating subtotals, and computing the percentage of self-performed work. The associated federal contract opportunity involves replacing the HVAC system for the kitchen air handling unit (AHU-4) in Building 160 at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee. The project has a 180-calendar day performance period, requires work during normal and off-hours to maintain kitchen operations, and includes a one-year warranty for all work and materials.
