About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for a federal contract opportunity to replace steam traps at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The key objectives are to replace 98 failed steam traps and associated components, including connector blocks, isolation valves, check valves, and strainers. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work, while the VA will supply isolation valves, strainers, and check valves if replacement is necessary. The period of performance is 240 calendar days, and the contractor will be required to perform some after-hours work to minimize disruptions to the medical center operations. The contractor must provide training for maintenance and operations personnel and a one-year warranty on all work. Pricing must be provided in a detailed, itemized format, and the contractor's proposal will not include any bid deducts.
