MEMORANDUM FOR INTERESTED CONTRACTORS PROPOSING ON MAINTENANCE,

REPAIR AND INSPECTION OF VERTICAL TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT (VTE) AT 15

MISSILE ALERT FACILITIES (MAFs)

FROM: 90 CONS/PKAA

SUBJECT: VTE MAFs Maintenance

1. The purpose of this memorandum is to record receipt of Department of Defense Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

2. Information Safeguarding is required for any information that is marked as CONTROLLED

UNCLASSIFIED INFORMATION.

3. Please provide your CAGE Code and sign below to confirm receipt and acknowledgement of the following statement concerning safeguarding of the CUI material.

4. Information safeguarding is the responsibility of the individual/agency/company requesting and taking possession of the Appendices A thru E, related to the VTE MAFs Maintenance Service Requirement.

Release or reproduction of this material or any part of thereof, is prohibited except for official use only.

No public publication of this material, by any means, is authorized. This material must be destroyed properly. In accordance with Section 2002.14 of Title 32, CFR and NIST SP 800-88, record and non-record CUI documents must be destroyed by means approved for destroying classified information or by any other means making it unreadable, indecipherable, and unrecoverable. CUI paper destruction method agencies must use are cross-cut shredders that produce 1 mm x 5 mm

(0.04 in. x 0.2 in.) particles (or smaller); or pulverize/disintegrate paper using disintegrator devices equipped with a 3/32 in. (2.4 mm) security screen. Direct any questions in regards to this policy to the F.E. Warren AFB Civil Engineer Squadron at (307) 773-3046. Information safeguarding & marking requirements are per AFI 33-332, DoD Instruction 5200.48 “Controlled Unclassified

Information (CUI)”, DFARS 252.204-7008, DFARS 252.204-7012, DFARS 252.204-7019, DFARS

252.204-7020, DFARS 252.204-7021, and Executive Order 12958 (when applicable).

5. The documents shall only be released to vendors who have demonstrated they are compliant with DFARS 252.204-7019 and DFARS 252.204-7020 by COMPLETING THE BASIC ASSESSMENT/ NIST SP 800-171 in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) within the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE). Once the assessment has been verified complete in SPRS, contractor shall request documents from Aaron Castillo or Liezel McIntyre by emailing, aaron.castillo.2@us.af.mil and liezel.mcintyre@us.af.mil. The CUI documents shall be released via DOD Safe and sent to the contractor representative.
